Mental Health Pop-Ups (2024–2025)

Safe spaces for individuals to decompress, journal, receive therapy, and have honest conversations with licensed professionals.

Our Mental Health Pop-Ups are monthly gatherings designed to create safe spaces for healing, conversation, and connection. These events bring people together to share meals, decompress, and find support through therapy and community.

Each pop-up includes unique experiences like cocktails & canvases (sip-and-paint), journaling, healing through music and self-expression, and other creative activities that help break down stigma and foster well-being.

With licensed professionals on-site, these pop-ups provide not only therapeutic guidance but also a sense of family, reminding everyone that they are not alone on their journey.

Cocktails & Canvases

Cocktails & Canvases was a relaxing and expressive session where participants enjoyed painting, refreshments, and community interaction. The event combined creative self-expression with healing through music, self-expression, and mindful activities, creating a supportive space for youth to unwind and explore their creativity.

  • Location: Hosted as part of the Mental Health Pop-Up series
  • Impact: Provided safe spaces for reflection, relaxation, and creativity, included shared meals and interactive activities like painting and music, positively engaged participants in therapy, journaling, and decompression sessions
Healing Through Music & Self Expression

This event blended the power of music with the freedom of creativity, encouraging emotional release, connection, and healing. Participants explored how rhythm, sound, and self-expression could open doors to mental wellness, providing a safe space to share, create, and feel seen. Guided by licensed professionals and interactive music-based activities, the session turned art into therapy, reminding every young person that their voice, their song, and their story mattered.

Art Of Expression

Art of Expression is our flagship event where young people unlock their creativity through workshops, mentorship, and panel discussions. It’s a space where self-expression meets empowerment, helping participants discover their voices and talents.

  • Focus: Creativity, Mentorship, and Youth Empowerment
  • Location: Lagos, Nigeria

  • Impact: 700+ participants over three days

Afro-Optimism

Afro-Optimism is a cultural and mental health celebration that brings together young people to explore creativity, wellness, and community. Through workshops, panels, and live performances, the event inspires personal growth while highlighting the importance of mental health awareness and cultural pride.

  • Focus: Mental health awareness, cultural celebration, and youth empowerment through creative expression.
  • Location: Lagos Preparatory Secondary School, Ikoyi, Lagos.
  • Impact: Engaged over 800 attendees through interactive panels, workshops, and performances, creating a safe and inspiring space for youth to connect, express themselves, and celebrate their culture.
